I'm new to setting up pan cars, but am I correct in that rear droop is controlled by centre shock length? I seem to have quite a lot, around 4mm with kit settings on new contact lilac WGT tires.

Regarding tires.. Do I have to true the tires down as the fronts are 61mm and the rear are 62.5mm. I have ordered some extra shims to bring the ride height down as it is pretty high at about 7mm with all the shims I have.

One last question, is it possible to set side spring preload on the X10? Do I add and remove shims or can it be set by adjusting the set screws? The manual said leave 0.5mm showing on the top of the set screw but this doesn't allow much room for adjustment plus I'm not sure about the bottom shim.

A few initial settings seemed off in the manual, such as front camber link gap and centre shock preload. I know it depends on the wheels and tyres but there was far too much camber on the front wheels and 5mm preload seemed way too much on the centre shock?

Yes droop is controlled by shock length. I think I may have removed the spacers between the spring holders and tweak brace but I'm not 100% certain on that. With my springs set for no preload, they still protrude above the tweak brace a bit, you can always purchase a longer set screw. I can't speak for foam tire sizes as we only run WGT-R here, but I had to put 2.5mm spacers up front and 5mm in the rear.

Fenix makes one. And I think Berserk has one too.

Why would it be a 2020 kit? There was nothing updated in 2019 and there is no new trend in pancar. Nothing but native 235mm

There was a 2016 and a 2018 spec. Dude is just extrapolating numbers, I think.

Hi. I was having really hard time with rear grip last weekend on fairly cold day asphalt track (temperatures around 10-20 Celsius). We run GT class (stock X10 200mm width). I was running Contact tires 28 rear and 40 front and every time I was hitting acceleration button on corner exit rear of the car was crazy and getting into spinning. Everyone was having problems with rear grip at that day. Would anyone know some solution to get the rear more gripy and consequently easier to drive ?

Softer rear side springs and tube lube would be a place to start. Could also loosen up the diff a touch, make sure it isn't slipping but if it is too tight it could lead to it wanting to spin.

What would be required to set this up as a WGTR car?
-Kit
-Radio
-ESC, Motor, Pinion, & 1s Battery
-Servo (looks like it will fit a normal TC servo now)
-WGT-R tires / wheels & Body

I am seeing 5mm and 2.5mm spacers may be required for ride hight. What size spacers? (I am coming from the T4 where we use 3x6 size for pretty much everything)
Am I missing anything?

Thanks
