Thanks FJ! Handout motors are great, the club racing we've seen at Jackson RC and John's Mobile over the summer carrying over to 360V2 and 180 with the Powers 13.5 spec motor has been excellent. Turnout has increased and racing is way more exciting. Thanks for providing that format that clubs can follow!

I expect Stock Wars will be very much the same, providing super close racing that will come down to driver and setup - just as stock racing should!

Finally, I posted on Facebook but forgot to share here, Xenon Racing has reached out to me and will join us as an associate sponsor this year. On top of that, the man himself, Teru will be flying all the way out to be at the race! Big thanks to Teru for coming out to enjoy some great racing and provide product support for Xenon Racing!

Entries are currently at 94 total with 57 unique racers. Still more coming that aren't on that list yet, like a certain fan favorite from TN

Is there a spec tire for F1, or are we allowed to run any make/compound we want?
All of my F1 tires are shot and I need new ones.
Just want to make sure the ones I get will be legal to run.

Robbie can confirm but I am pretty sure the race is open to 3 different sets. TCS, CRC or Gravity's. I have seen all three being used at the track.

Correct, we aren’t able to open the track or pit area on Thursday.

Robbie once again may have to confirm, but even though the Pit 571/572 is supposedly the same compound rubber, they are not marked as so on the actual rubber itself from what I remember. That being said, you could be running a 573/575 combo and no one would be able to tell due to lack of markings. Please correct me if I am wrong about this. I am basing my statement on the few sets of PITS I have in the box.
The CRC, TCS and Gravity all have obvious in your face molding in the rubber to designate the tire.

Yes, we would like to stick with the CRC, Gravity and Tamiya tires as those are the most commonly used, and seem to be what works best anyway.

Thanks Tom & Jamie!

Works for me, thanks!
Glad I asked. Hopefully all of the other F1 guys see this.

F1 tire rule has been adjusted from the original post. F1 is limited to CRC, TCS and Gravity tires. Racers may bring their own.

Registration should be open at noon ET today via https://www.stockwarsrc.com/

The first post of this thread has all the latest updates.

They should be able to see it on the first post. I added that info on 18 October based on the above. But this was a nice refresher
