Greeting:

I want to paint my Dodge Stratus body.

Do I paint from the inside or outside???

I was initially thinking spraying pure white from the inside, and then, mask on the pattern I want on the inside and paint using a brush or an airbrush from the outside.

Is my concept correct ? ? ?

If not, please correct me ! ! !

all of you image design is on the inside of your body.... not the outside !

If you want to paint like charlie, you're going to need to take some art classes and paint for like 5-10 years. He's one of the best artists i've ever seen painting r/c bodies. He is a master with the airbrush. He can probably paint just about anything you see in any airbrush mag.

Charlie isn't an R/C racer that tries to do art- he's an artist that races r/c cars!!!

To answer your question, yes; mask your stripes in the order you will peel them off and start painting. Use a hairdryer between coats and try to paint the dark colors first.

If this is your first paint job, I suggest just using one color. Buy a can of spray paint, and use the included window masks to mask off the windows from the inside. Then spray your color, and remove the masks.

As previously posted, Charile is an Artist who races R/C cars and his dedication, creativity and style can be found at the end of an airbrush.

10-15years of painting everyday and this guy is the best at what he does. I have spent several days and nights watching CB paint and it is JUST AMAZING! What he creates is nothing less than Lexan beauty. It would be amazing to see if he could create Tatoos like some of his airbrush paintings.

Let me end by saying, I have seen CB paint over 20 bodies at least from start to finish and he spends an average of 5 hours on a lexan body paint job, never have I seen one that I would ship back to him.
