it's an inexpensive steel one that does an average job.

they also have a carbide option part

Most people switch it out for either

LEFTHANDER R/C
or

I find the BSR is better for electric 1/12 tires and good for nitro TC, but the CRC one does best for larger 1/8 nitro tires

The carbide blade was discontinued years ago. So the standard blade or the CRC are the only real options. Personally I still use the standard blade and it does a fine job to be honest and I'm cutting 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm tires.

The carbide is back for Hudy. Just not included. But the new one is great.

Part number? The HUDY website still states 'discontinued'

That's great but can someone give me the part number please as it's showing discontinued under the original carbide cutter part number (102067)

Unfortunately I was not giving a part number. I was told by RC America that it was something they personally had made being hudy discontinued their’s. You should be able to just call up or see America and tell them you want that true or a bit and they will sell it to you as that is what they did with me.

It was 50$ if I’m not mistaken. I like the bsr bit but I like the fact the hudy bit allows you to be able to still use the measurement marks on the cutter. Bsr is so big it’s always off 2-3mm

Ah ok so it isn't genuine HUDY. Makes sense. Team Titan do a carbide cutter too just like the old hudy one. One thing I like about the standard blade is my vernier is spot on so if I set it to 74mm I get exactly 74mm tire after truing.
