Hi.

I have the problem, that i can't setup front toe out. The Kit standard ball cups are so long, that it is impossible to adjust toe out.

Can you recommend any other Tamiya parts,to solve this problem?

Greetings from Germany

Either cut them a bit shorter or get something like Tamiya part 54489

You can use Tamiya 54247 18mm Turnbuckle shafts and Tamiya54489 low friction 5mm ball adjusters

Tamiya Tires work okay for TCS, but Sweep Tires are the ones to go with for carpet. I had an M05 but had to go to M07 at my carpet club because the M05 is at a real disadvantage to the M07 because of gearing. Everyone runs sweeps in my class even though tire choice is open, your car set up will have to be different as sweep is much smaller than tamiya. And like all carpet tires, side wall glueing is extremely critical in the front and should be redone every dozen runs. When side glues cracks, or is too thick, that tire is done (because you will get side hopping from the cracks clipping the carpet) and youre better off with a new side glued tire. With sweeps, you want to make sure you glue right to the edge of contact patch, too much and you will understeer, too little and you will traction roll, and if done uneven you will bounce/hop. Anyhow, hope this helps, and PS care full with glueing

Why not restrict the gearing to 20T pinions?

There was a gearing rule before, but now that everyone in my club has a M07, we went to open gear as the track is just right to have a good gear between the highest and medium available, but even my best tuned/hopped up M05 was just a tad under a basic M07 Concept on the timming and scoring. And the M07 has a huge advantage as well over the M05 in my other asphalt club pals. We tried to conpensate the diffirence with open motor, but a 13.5 was burnning up the front tires to pieces on carpet

Alloy parts are usually heavier than the stock plastic items.
The alloy steering bridge is listed at 6g the alloy steering arms 10g.

Hello just finished my m07 build .Does anyone know why the oustide bearing is sticking out.(i thought that was strange)
Is the setup from the manual a good start for a medium grip asphalt track.
What is the ride height maybe 6 rear 5 front?

The bearing like that is normal, but note one bearing is smaller than the other...as in the manual. And as for ride height, 4-5 is okay
