2017 U.S. Indoor Championships Cleveland, OH November 23th-26th
#47
Sean has collected quite a few entries from the PO Box and we've received more than expected already via Pay-Pal. Notable is the increase in first time or long time absent racers and we have you, our fellow racers to thank for the word of mouth advertising. This year is shaping up to surpass last year. We have adjusted the schedule to accommodate a few more heats, but we still have a finite number of pitspaces.
I suspect after we hear back this week from the manufactures teams we will be at nearly half capacity, last year we closed registration the last week of October. The 21.5 TC class will be capped early to allow us time to ensure sufficient quantities of handout motors. The yearly favorites of both 1/12th and 17.5 classes are leading the entry list and the fan favorites F1 and USGT are close behind.
below is the schedule, once again the track will be open round the clock. If you eat to much, oversleep during your nap and don't make it to the track till late Thursday night, no worries.
SCHEDULE:
Thursday 11/23: 8 AM Doors open, Track open for practice.
1pm-8pm Check in, tire/motor purchase, motor tech
Friday 11/24: 7 AM – 1pm: Open/Controlled practice
9am - 12pm: Check in, tire/motor purchase, motor tech
12:30 Drivers meeting
1pm - Finish: 2 rounds of Qualifying
Track open for practice.
Saturday 11/25: 7 AM – 10:45am: Open/Controlled practice.
11 AM – Finish: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Finish –12AM Practice: track will close at midnight
Sunday 11/27: 7 AM – 9:45 AM: Open/Controlled practice.
10 AM – 4 PM: Mains & Awards.

Ken - when I signed up via Paypal I don't think I prepaid for tires. Can this be done at the event or should I send over some Paypal with the details?

I also don't think I prepaid for tires. Also, anywhere to see the entry lists and make sure I got on?

Ken, I'll be making my reservations and paypaling my entry fees this weekend. Hopefully there's still room on the lists.
