Default Novak 5800 help?

Anybody have any trouble with this system when its set on sportsman mode?
I have two of them, one works fine, the other seems to run just as fast as set on mod, only with the cutting out. It sure makes it tough to drive.
This happen to anyone else?
If so, how did you fix this?

What do you mean one is fine?

When i had my 5800, in sportsman the motor spools up just as fast as a mod, but tops out at 24,000 rpm. That's just how it was.
When you're running the systems IN a car, you never feel the cut-out.
When you run them on a bench, sometimes they cut out smoothly.. othertimes it's like bouncing off a rev limiter in a car.

How does the other one cut out? Like completely? Have you checked the sensor wires? the connection going into the esc might be loose. Otherwise try the end-bell bearing. Is it smooth?

I race with Tony. It was like it was stutering coming out of the corners. I hope that someone here can help him with it. He's a good guy that could use it. Thanks, Bailey.

I disagree. I can feel, see and hear (the weeweewee of the rev limiter) when I run my car.

I've periodically had the same problem, mainly coming out of a corner but ocassionally in the middle of a straight. It's happend 3 to four times. I disconnected the sensor wires and reconnected and it goes away temporarily.

I dont think this one is stopping at the rev limit, but its cutting in and out like the other one is. You can put them side by side and there is a huge difference with the speed. Im starting to think the esc is screwed?
Bailey i set up both cars with one so we will be able to see a difference.

I'm there for ya Tony. I'll do everything I can to help. Hopefully we can figure it out. I wonder if it's just something we've overlooked. Is your radio FM or AM? If it's Fm I'll bring both of mine and we'll see if that helps. Thanks, Bailey.
