6 Wheel Custom F1 Pan Car...
Hi Everyone.
I found these pictures in my hard drive, and I thought I would share them with you.
The car is the creation of Dave Berry, a friend of Josh Cyrul's in Michigan.
They were taken November 2003 at the Canadian 12th Scale Nationals.
Let me know what you think. Not the clearest pics, but you get the point. Very cool indeed!
Cheers
Dave

I can't believe someone actually has pics of that car. Dave used to race it at Larry's in MI and the car was awsome. It looked cool and was very fast. The body is actually molded off of the Tamiya ABS plastic body and if I remember correctly the rear tires are actually 10th scale. Overall it was very cool to watch and turned many heads.
Oh and look at that power plant. A trinity Midnight 2. hahaha

Ahh, modelled after the Tyrell P34. So wierd and wonderful. You know there was actually a Formula 1 prototype with two rear axles too! Probably lots of young guys on the board that have NO idea what I'm talking about. Read up! Here's a history lesson...
History of the car...
A nice pic of the car in action...

Wow,its a TYRRELL P34, F1 car.
I worked at the LongBeach Cal. F1 races in the mid seventies and actualy got to see them race. Amazing to watch the front wheels, all 4 of them dance when the cars were thrown sideways. something you never forget!
That 1/12 is a beautiful car, esp.the steeing likages.
My TAMIYA TYRRELL P34 doesn't look anywhere close to that.
Hopefully that car is still around & being used..
Fred.
PS. Could you please post the pics on the Tamiya F201 site. Thanks

I remember that I car, I was pitted right next to him at that race. That car is awesome and when he ran it for a couple laps that thing was fast, and this was on a really tight track, i can only imagine how fast it would be on a wider faster track.

Here's a link to the CyberFormula Series
Some pretty neat stuff!
And the Asurada Speed Challenge where they make land missles out of them.
