Default traxxas new and first 10th scale in awhile

Heres the new eletric 10th scale traxxas 4tec ford gt 2.0 so they are calling it, although it has nothing to do with the nitro version but looks awsome, that ford gt body has 2 piece lexan and plastic parts, also has tailight buckets for lights, the drivetrain is brushless ready. Is waterproof, The battery hold down can be flipped around to accept lipo, the car comes with a new style movable front to back side to side body post that accept different body types, has realistic disc brakes and calibers. Comes rtr for around 290 bucks. Got my order in already, cant wait

Adjustable toe links will be the first upgrade, clearly.

I think traxxas failed to meet the onroad-customer's needs in a touring car: adjustability and balance.
Touring car guys are usually quite obsessed with their setup...even if they only race for fun, so I think not even putting on adjustable turnbuckles is gonna be a major dealbreaker.
This looks like an onroad version of a beginner-offroad-basher car.
The chassis layout looks like a tamiya from 10 years ago

So yeah.. I'd rather get a tt-02 or a sprint 2

That's the thing, they weren't going for adjustability and balance were going for simplicity and realism. They aren't trying to cater to the racer market. This is exactly what the hobby needs. We, as racers, need to get our heads out of our rear ends thinking we really know what we need and what's good for the hobby.

Make sure and search the forums for a post that already exists before posting a new one. This one is now locked.
