Thumbs up 2017 International Indoor Championships (iic) Las Vegas October 1-6

It is that time of the year to start making plans for our annual trip to Las Vegas for the always exciting International Indoor Championships! We are happy to announce the date for the 2017 edition will be October 1-6 at the Westgate Hotel and Casino.

Here is the schedule for this years International Indoor Championships:

Sunday October 1st, Registration and Drivers meeting buffet dinner
Monday Octer 2nd, Practice
Tuesday Octer 3rd, Practice
Wednesday October 4th, Qualifying
Thursday Octer 5th, Qualifying
Friday October 6th, Mains

I also have some very big news to our Off-Road friends who have always wanted a reason to go to Vegas for a race. We are very happy to announce that after many years of trying to put all the pieces together, the International Off-Road Carpet Championships will be held October 7-12 at the Westgate Hotel and Casino.

Here is the schedule for the International Off-Road Carpet Championships:
Saturday October 7th, Registration and Drivers meeting buffet dinner
Sunday October 8th, Practice
Monday October 9th, Practice
Tuesday October 10th, Qualifying
Wednesday October 11th, Qualifying
Thursday October 12th Mains

Additional information will be available soon!

If you race On-Road, Off-Road, or both, Las Vegas is where you will want to be in October!

Don't forget to check out 702 RC Raceway for great ........on road and off road carpet action............. every week in Vegas if you want to come up and scope out the facility

Never been, Most important thing for me is the pool area, looks nice in the pictures though, any opinions on how the hotel and pool was?
I will see if I can get this information for you. It might be posted on FB, not sure.

Hi everyone:

I would go to IIC this year but i am not from USA.
Could someone guide me what should i put on hand carry and in checked baggage.
I guess only cannot bring is aerosol spray.
Radio must be hand carry and lipos must be in checked bag.

At least in the US you must hand carry your lipos. I always hand carry my cars, batteries and radio. Everything else is checked.

But in airport has xray during check in?
I was in Japan recently, they has xray to check in but only in national routes.

Always carry on batteries. I've never had a problem with the cars. They always care more about the transmitter cause it looks like a gun.

Yeah, the only rule to lithium batteries is they have to be carried on so they stay in a pressurized cabin. Everything else you own can be checked.
