VTA Motors Novak vs Trinity
Has anyone here used the Trinity D4 short stack certified VTA motor and the Novak VTA motor? I have used the Novak the past 2 years but was looking to possibly switch it up.

imo....I dont think there is a best for VTA racing....the specs are pretty much all the same....the differences will be minor.
If you have an older Novak like me, I geared it at 3.3 FDR, the newer motors are around 3.6 FDR....I was able to produce the same fast lap out of them...
Now what I am going to test is a brand New Novak against a New TSR and Phantom next...

I used the motor at The Rug in King, NC for my first VTA race did pretty good with it, still trying to get the gearing figured out. Going to run it at the Birds, but so far it seems to be a good motor. Darkside as far as gearing goes is the Trinity motor top end type, and if so for a Snowbirds sized track what gear do you recommend ?
