Hi VBC TC owners! What will be the right double joint drive shaft for this one?

I'll probably order a set of these when I order the new FF17.

Finally! I've been waiting forever for this! Price is reasonable, all the suspension bits are the same as my other VBC kits and I have really wanted to run FWD in USGT.

Upper "mono rail" deck design is really trick.

Default FF17 On the way

I've ordered one as well. The "no minimum weight" for USGT has me intrigued. It will be interesting to see how low we can go.

My brother and I have started building our kits and they are pretty sexy. Aluminum gear diff housing is hot. Steering assembly and all plastics (silver) are lifted right off the D09. Can't wait to race it in USGT. Some quick build notes:
- tolerances are close so assemble carefully and make sure bearings are fully seated
- you need more 10mm ID shims to prevent the diff from touching the bulkheads (diff only fits one way correctly)
- also need 4mm ID shims and 5mm ID to properly space the layshaft (make sure the spur gear adapter does not hit the little graphite motor mount brace
- after fiddling with shims the front gear box is very free
- We installed a 64p 96t Core RC (Schumacher) black touring car spur which fits perfect
- bummed that it didn't include VBC Racing logo screws but it's not an issue
- 3mm reamer recommended for arms
- chassis looks to be compatible with newer style suspension mounts
- ball cups fit perfect - free with zero play
Not quite finished the builds yet but this is a high quality racing machine with some features sure to be found in high end touring kits in the future (aluminum diff and what looks to be an un-tweakable upper deck).

Hi,

Received my kit yesterday and like David says all OK the quality is there but nothing out of the ordinary...I am spoiled by my Awesomatix
Still thinking of the electronic layout. May even consider to relocate the servo at the right side to bring it more inside and keep those wires shorts.
Will keep you updated of tests and development.
The roller without any electronics and option is about 555g/560g so I think it's on the heavy side but not as much as anticipated. Need to compare with other brands.
I am gestimating my RTR to be about 1275g depending of body or battery.

Here are some pictures
