Default Vettera v100

Can anyone tell me the what is a good gearing for a castle 7700kv in a Vettera v100 running 38/65

how do i keep temp down have fans on motor and sec running hot after 5 min

Honestly don't know if the V100 has enuff gearing options for that motor. I've got 4 of them. Even with a 4600kv motor I was running out of gear.
It was few years ago but I recall someone had found a way to use 64p gearing. But think it was a one off design.

thanks I geared 28/77 temps are good now wish they had better options.

Vaterra does have a couple other spur gears. Can't remember what tooth count was for them.

yeah I've tried 71 and 65 but temps were high stock gearing seems to be doing good not trying to do speed runs all the time
