I'll most likely stick to 2s for now until I have ample spars.

The 2013 model came with the smaller radio the larger TF-40 came in 2014 and later I believe works fine for me on 3S.

From Fast RC4
It's really great to drive. Very smooth and fast.

Ran a fully charged 2s 5800 mah and a 3s 5000 mah lipo - no problems, no crashes, never flipped over.

The car is stock except:
- lowered the ride height in front and rear
- added spring pre-load spacers

Could be good. I've never been on a true RC track. I've also got 1/8 Serpent and Kyosho road cars. WR8 is smaller, and drives more like an oversized 1/10 to me. Stock steering I think would struggle but you said you upgraded.
I've got a second one that runs slicks from the nitroRS4. Changes vehicle but in good way.

Start by moving your front and rear shocks inward and adding the space collars on the top of the shock springs. Ran mine again yesterday puts a smile on my face every time with 3s lipo...
