Had a few of these at my local Tcs race past weekend.
I am picking one up in hopes it takes off.
Agree some were bouncing all over the place...some looked fairly dialed for a box stock class.
All looked super fun!

Black carpet = tippy trucks.
Are we allowed to glue the sidewalls of the tires?

At the TCS in Fresno. They said (Tamiya Rep)no Gluing sidewalls allowed.
I had a set to try and wasn't able to use them.

So this class has taken off like a rocket at my local.
We had 5 last weekend and apperently five or more being built.
Who knew this would be the next big thing.

If you buy ceramic bearings for a Euro Truck, you're pretty much a tool.

The option is there. The cost ranges from $16 to $64 for a set of 16 bearings. That is $1 per bearing, or $4 each. Really, the only ceramics available in the Avid kit are the 5x11 bearings (12 pieces). The 8x12 can only be purchased in metal, rubber, or a combination of the 2.

Ceramics not only offer superior rolling performance, but they are lighter and stronger than standard bearings.

Lastly, as with any spec class (especially Tamiya), I am sure ceramic bearings are not the worst that anyone has done or will do to make these trucks perform better. That's racing. It is silly to call folks "tools" for opting to spend a bit more on better quality & stronger bearings. Might as well just make the rule oilite bushings only. But then you'd have folks reaming out bushings, polishing axles, etc.
