Motors are locked timing so that is also a plus factor

I only ask this because if they are not, then there isnt a reason to have a handout motor...other than to use the same brand.
This is a locked timing motor as I posted earlier.

The point here is to use a low cost, fixed timing motor. This is not 1998, where you had to buy 3 motors and hope you got a good one, or let your motor guy crank up the comm with a fantom dyno wheel for you.

I think part of the problem with the advent of the $150 "tuned" motor is that everybody now thinks if someone has not matched up all the components of a motor, it must be garbage, and the quality varies wildly. Yes, there are duds out there. Its not like every other motor as seems to be common belief now.

ok is that a yes?....btw 1998?....gosh how old are you people....

so will they be broke down and check for equal performance, or you get off the shelf and cross your fingers.

you know Im not a trouble maker and will back you, but if the USVTA is going this route...its important to know....cause this totally was left field for a lot of us.

1998 isn't that long ago in the grand scheme of things. I had my very first race a couple years after that and I'm only 31.

I wish I could attend this race, but unfortunately it is not in the cards at this time. I like this handout motor!!!! It is definitely cost efficient, I could power mine and my 2 kids cars for the same price I am paying just to power mine. Let me know how they run!

No, your not going top be able to adjust timing in an attempt to equalize motor KV or RPM or whatever since they are locked timing. So it will be what come out of the package.

They are now open!!!

USVTA SCALE NATIONALS - RCSignup.com

You will not be able to register with out payment for at least 1 class.
You can always add another class at the event but if you plan on racing USGT I would suggest that you sign up for that first to secure one of the 55 limited entries for that class. You must pay for your class up front you can pay for your USGT Motor at the event if you want you have the option to pay for it at sign up. Also if you would like an event t-shirt you can order yours at the time you register as well. There may be some sold at the event but if you want one I would order it at the time you register to make sure you get one and in your size.

If you would like to pay over the phone you can always call Windy City RC and register that way too. http://www.windycityrc.com/
