You know you've made it in life when you have your spot reserved in the Invitational class.
Rick, btw, it's awesome to see your name right up there thanks to current results as opposed to past ones (or being in the organizing committee...)!
I'd be so happy if one of the old-school guys like Mark P. or the Fabulous One, or you, could show the young guns around the track!

Tamiya Raceway
Hello fellow RROC racers
FYI: The Tamiya track will be officially closed from April 7th to April 19th for major restoration of the track and repair. All in preparation for CTS and Reedy. This is great news for all but unfortunately means no running there for two weekends. Lots of work ahead but it will be great to see Tamiya Raceway back to its First class racing conditions and I'm sure all you racers will be too.
Thank you Fred and Brian for making this a reality!

2017 Reedy International TC Race of Champions Spec Tire Selection
The Reedy Race is proud to announce that the Sweep EXP EVO-R 36 (EXP36RPP) has been chosen as the spec tire for the 2017 Reedy International Touring Car Race of Champions.
This is the same tire that has been used since the event's return to Tamiya in 2014. And for good reason! Whether the track is highly worn or freshly resurfaced, the EVO-R 36 delivers record lap times and consistent performance.
Each paid entry includes one set of marked and numbered Sweep EXP EVO-R 36 tires. Drivers will be allowed to purchase an additional three sets of marked and numbered tires for use as they please for qualifying and triple main events. There is no limit to the number of tires a driver may purchase for practice, but tires used during controlled practice seeding rounds must be marked tires purchased at the event. Tires for non-scored controlled practice rounds or pre-race testing can be purchased at the event or at Sweep Racing USA.
