LCG Batteries are they as good as regular batteries

I have owned most of them an they have similar numbers to full height. As they should since the insides are the same just not as tall, same as shorty packs, same internal chemicals just a different shape

I have run a couple LCG style short batteries on my turbo 30 and the numbers are not very good vs. a regular short battery. Voltage doesn't carry as long and the IR is not as good. IR was a bit surprising as I did not think there would be a difference.
I plot time in seconds to 8.0v, then 7.9v, 7.8v etc. to get a simple curve.
The full length packs may be a little different.

I just got in some of my new LCG 6000 mah graphene packs I am releasing and they are every bit as good as my full size 6000's I've been using all season. IR, voltage and curve are all just as good.
The shorty packs I haven't gotten to test much yet. But I do plan on having those as well very soon in the graphene formula.

If the have less Mah than the full height, they are not going to have as much voltage and end of run...
If you are looking at two batteries, same Mah one lcg and one not, they are going to be very similar. I have had the LRP full size regular height and LCG, same mah, same performance on track and in charger measurements, same with Team Powers same with Trinity

If you buy these new 2017 LCG/HV/SVH packs don't expect them to reached they're Mah capacity at 4.20/8.40 volts, example I have the Reedy 3.8 Zapper 1s lipo that charge up 7100ish in Mah capacity at 4.20 volts. When charged to 4.35 it barely made over 8000mah. LCG is nothing more than lowered case with the same chemistry

I'm never on the cutting edge of this hobby. Can someone post a link or explain exactly what a LCG battery is? I assume it means Low Center of Gravity? I also assume they might be not as tall as a "standard" lipo pack? I would assume a LCG battery might also be a good option for older/heavier cars or cars that have a lower top deck.
If all of the above is true, it might be a good option for someone like me to help get an old tub chassis car closer to minimum weight for classes like VTA or USGT.

It depends on the amp draw.... At 40amps, almost every pack dips below 8 volts immediately.... I am hoping that the new cells can hold 8.3+ volts for at least thirty seconds...
