Spoke with Rick today.....Those rumors are completely false...especially since he just ordered 25000 pair of them.
He did say that IF he ever did stop that EAMotorsports would be the ONLY person that he would give the compounds to since I helped in the development of the compounds and contiue to do so.

Hey EA. What do you mean cut .05 off each side? Just the 2 sides as it says, or the trailing and leading edges or what? And how do you cut it or what is the easiest way? Also what does that do as far as performance?
Thanks EA.

The Trinity brush master works wonders and is the best out there. .005 off the leading and trailing edge is what I meant. It will take away some of the overlap, timing, amp draw and a little of RPM. If you narrow them up it will also add torque so you may go up one tooth from your normal rollout.

I use the Integy/Zipp serrater/cutter and it works very well to take the edges off the brushes.
What I like about it, once it is set to a certain depth it stays there

Would you recommend the F brush for 1/12th?

Yes the F brush works great in 12th scale too. Just use a full face brush with a 1.5mm hole in the face or the middle hole on our brush jig. Break them in for 300 seconds at 2 volts. Run one time then skim the comm and reuse the same brushes. Break in for 300 seconds at 2 volts again and then you should be good to go for 4-6 runs...Just spray the motor out after each run.
