Here is me HPI Sprint 2 with the 200mm diablo shell. My wheel spacers and offset rims are on there way from the states. Paint colour used is Tamiya " Sky Blue Anodized Aluminium" and backed with "Cherry red".
Electrics include : Novak Cyclone, GP 3700 zapped saddle pack, Trinity D6 6 turn double, Deans plugs Futaba digital 2ch Stick. The other pics are my 190mm Wrx shell in metallic blue, and my Crazy lift kit endowed mini giant. That little thing flys with the bearing upgrade, fireball motor and 6x gp1100 2/3amp cells.
Tell me what you's think and post some other hot exotic's....

Nice Diablo Albo. But you should have used the 190mm body instead to make it more fit to your car. Anyway, here's a pic of my pro4 with HPI 190mm Murcielago body.

thanks nick

hey thanks nick. At my local hobby shop they only had the 200 mm which i trial fitted over my chassis and only the rear was a about 5 mm out either side. So with offset rims and spacers i get a wider track anyway with the front pretty much spot on already. should handle a little better with the extra distance between the rear tyres.

Yeh I love all the lambo's and hoping to do a Galardo or Countach soon too. I like the murcieaglo too but you need to get some chrome wires for it. have you seen the rpm fake exhaust tip? you can get it through tower hobbies...

# Does anyone know where i can get the carbon fibre option parts for the hpi sprint 2? ive seen tjem ALL on the Europe hpi site (chassis, upper deck,F/R shock towers) but tower only stock the front shock tower and thats all.

yup, ive seen the exhaust. it even has 2 leds inside for effects.

Post your Gallardo when you have finished painting it. Here's a pic I'd like to do on another Murcielago dody.

...and here's a good paint design for Gallardo. The Gallardo SV.

Very good looking Lambo! I used to have a 200mm Murcielago, it was Metallic Blue backed with Indy Silver. I used a slightly lighter coat of blue in the back and a touch more silver, giving the body a very subtle fade. It turned out beautifully, but I sold it with my RS4 quite some time ago. That body makes me want it back. Did you need low profile shock towers to fit that on your Pro4? I have a very nice looking NSX I can snap some pics for you guys, but I will need someone to resize them. I wish the NSX would fit my Pro4. It doesn't fit my Pro2 either. :(

thanks josh. Yeh its HOT i know....LOL

Shock tower hitting the shell? did you mean the diablo , or the blue murcieaglo ( is that how u spell it....)? Anyway i had to trim a little bit off the edge of my front shock tower because the nose is too low. The only downside to the diablo is I hate to drive it! Although it looks even better when it's moving, im scared i'll scratch the shell or run into something... So instead it just sits on a shelf at home for display. Every once and a while it gets a lap or two at the local track just to show it off.

Josh,

Nope, I'm still using the original stock shock towers. No adjustments made. That's the nice thing with this body, it fits perfectly on the pro4. :)

Albo,

We have the same alibi. My Murcielago body is just for display too. I'm using an HPI Stratus Aero2 body for racing. I wouldn't want to harm the Lambo body with scratches. :)

I just realized it was the Diablo. It was the one with the hood vent. I also use the Aero 2, but I'm thinking about trying a Madza 6. I just want something that's rear biased. It seems like I'm always chasing rear traction, and I don't know why...
