Allright I have a good one. I am first starting out my rc career and I am sitting at the table with my buddy who also races. We are putting our batteries together for the first time. Really very pathetic even with the deans battery jig. Anyways, we are both excited about solder, and how cool it is when it is melted. So, I load up the tip of the soldering iron and it falls off because of gravity and there was just too much on the iron....then a light goes off in my head. This $hit can fly. I load it up again and with a flick of the wrist I sent a blob of boiling solder at my buddy. The funny part about it is the nice welt it left on his neck afterwards...and his crazy reaction. It was so funny, I went to do it again. With a loaded soldering iron I lean it back to flick and well, gravity took over and fell on my arm.
I have the scar to prove it. My pain threshold to heat has increased since that day.
