Default Charging Batteries

I am sure this has been asked before but I cant find it. I was wondering if there is a problem with charging my 2400's the night before race day and then peaking them before I run? Also, is there an optimum charge rate for 2400's or is it just preference?

Default Charging Batteries

Don't do it. The reason is that the internal resistance of the cells increases when they sit overnight with a full charge. This causes the packs to be flat at the racetrack the next day.
Charge at the track if you can. Your car will have MUCH more power. Try to charge at least at 5+ amps.
I just went through all of this so that's why I know.
