yes you can expect a D10.
big chance it will not be a small change.
A lot of testing is going on and they started from the ground up.
so don't expect a small change
last proto is have seen was very nice and fast.
personally was very happy with every VBC car starting with the D06.
With the D09 it took a long time to find a good setup.
in the past the cars had very good turn in.
The D09 needed a lot of tweaking to get it to turn in like previous cars.

I really liked my D06 Dynamics Edition. I still use it as a usgt car. It has seen a bunch of use over the years I've owned it and i don't think I've ever managed to tweak it. Build quality on this car was better than the d07 and d08 imo. I don't have a d09. I like the d06 so much that i have considered buying more.
I have a D07 that i run in modified. This car seems to lack steering and rotation no matter what you do with it. I currently have it set up with the aggressive package chassis and it still lacks steering and corner speed on crc black carpet. Very easy car to drive though....it was a good chassis to learn mod with.
The biggest issue with the d06 and d07 was that they were overbuilt which resulted in them being heavy. The attention to detail on them is fantastic though. The machining is beautiful. There is probably 3 times more machining put into a d06 and d07 than any xray or ae car from the same era.
I run a d08 in 17.5 stock. It has been fantastic. It is lighter and has more steering than previous models. It is easy to tune and reacts to changes as it should....it takes the guess work out of it. I just bought a used d08 to replace my d07 in modified. I skipped buying a d09 since i was happy with my d08, and am currently awaiting the release of vbc's next model.

The front will line up correctly, but the rear post holes need to be elongated for them to work. The D09 shock tower is moved back because the aluminum mounts are machined differently now.
I don't think my D09 is lacking anymore steering then my D08 did. The tuning window is very workable for this car, and the Dyanmics is a great kit if your starting out.

No release date at the moment. my guess is around end of October our beginning of November. It's no rumor it will be a big chance, it is a big chance. Most development and testing is now done by the team itself with the help of new people at VBC hq.
At last ETS I have seen the first prototype and after that seen pics.
Can't share a lot at this moment. but really like what i have seen.

Anyone interested in a brand new built d09? I just bought a pair of used ones if someone wants this one before I run it. Nothing installed out even test fit. Would sell for 225 shipped.

VBC Racing WildFire D09 - John Tsang - Kamloops - 03-05.04.2017
Also I think if you go back in this forum John has another setup listed which is good as well.

D09 Asphalt Setup
Big Local Track 180 x 60' with a few bumps, but mostly heavy throttle
Had better club racing results than the trophy race, but car felt good and easy to drive.
Attached - oddly didn't require too many suspension changes for outdoor.
We are running black carpet locally this indoor season, and since the next VBC car is not out yet, I'm happy to get a second round of getting the setup dialed in.
