Associated brushless apex help
I can't keep my car from spinning out on acceleration. Horrible steering at speed.. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm running the stock green shocks, 50w Shock oil all around. Tried messing with the throttle trim on the controller... All it did was make it a slug... I guess where do I start? I'm newly back into the hobby and thourouly confused on how to remedy this.. Thanks to all your help & replys in advance.

are you running at a track or on the street? unprepared street runs cars usually spin out cause of the dust / debris /rocks.
do all the wheels spin freely? is any drive shaft broken or disconnected?
if it is the 4wd version, all four wheels should move at the same time, if one spins freely when the other 3 dont, there's something wrong.

Right off the bat I would suggest that 50W shockoil is too high... I am pretty sure I was running between 25W and 32W depending on the situation. Also, lay the rear shocks down more if you can (innermost on top, outermost on bottom).
And, dumb question, but you're using traction compound, right? Never could get anything out of that car without traction compound.
But you do need to tell us if you're running on carpet or asphalt.

I'm running on asphalt course. My diffs seem fine.. it is a all wheel shaft car. I'm not running any kind of compound. I would love to see your tips on keeping this thing on the course better. My tc-3 has the same tires and hooks up way better... Thought this car would be a upgrade.. The tc-3 I bought used already built up.

I use Simple Green to clean tires and found that on a properly prepared asphalt track that this was fine. Traction compound did nothing. Asphalt tracks often have less grip than carpet and it helps to use a softer suspension. Try 40/35 weight oil front and rear and maybe softer springs as well. Check the TC3 asphalt setups as a guide. Have you checked the camber on all four corners? Try -2 on all 4 tires and see if that helps. You can also change the angle of the rear shocks to give more grip. Move the top of the rear shocks in one hole at a time and see what that does.

That's the beauty of this car... I'm having trouble finding turnbuckels for suspension... It came with fixed arms.. All the ones I've seen are about a 1/8" to long. I did put 35w oil in the shocks and moved the rear mount as mentioned above. About to hit up the track.. Hopefully it made a difference.

Bear in mind that I was running this as a VTA car. TC tires should grip better, but I would start close to this and go from there.
Do the APEX cars still come with two wings? Mine did, and the steeper angle wing made a huge difference when I first bashed with the car out of the box (before I turned it into a VTA).
If you don't have traction compound, then I agree with SteveM -- use Simple Green every run and keep those tires as clean as possible.
And no, that's not a typo below... I actually did have the fronts set for toe IN. Contrary to every other setup in the world. Prior to this setup I had them at 0°.

That's the beauty of this car... I'm having trouble finding turnbuckels for suspension... It came with fixed arms.. All the ones I've seen are about a 1/8" to long.
