KO PROPO EX-1 Mars-R LM 75Mhz FM ....... Comparing the M8, etc... Thanks for any input!

Pretty much the same features. The feel in your hand is a little more balanced. But the M8 is easier to setup. All the high end radios 3PJ, M8, JR-R1 (Pro), Mars (R) are pretty much the same functionaly. You difference is in feel, balance, and ease of setup. The M8 is the easiest to setup but has the worst feel (weigh balance wise) of all of them.

Like I said in an earlier response to you... You were right in your thoughts to just get the new Airtronics or the JR XR3i... If your serious about racing, winning is the only thing that matters. Not how cool and feature packed your controller is.

the ex1-mars has ABS brake function which is not readily available on the m8.on the m8,it's known as ALB and needs 2 b unlock.

i had experience with both controllers,basically the m8 is easier 2 setup.

but still,i prefer the ex1-mars...

not 4getting to mention that the m8 has a high batt power usage compare 2 any other controller around...

I HIGHLY recommend KO. Options and reliability are next to none.

Agree!!! I started R/C about 16 years ago with KO EX-I, then EX-II, then EX-9.... and now 2000R, never had a problem with any KO products. It's the best, best feel, best balanced!!!

i have had my mars R for about 2 months now , and i had to do it all over again. i would buy another kopropo mars R ...

Alright!!! I found a sweet deal, and I didn't pass it up!
KO PROPO 2000R MARS EX1 75MHZ w/receiver, and nicds + charger. About $200.00.

I appreciate all the input, everyone!!

Now,,,,,the Servo, and ESC is next

Hi Chris! eBay indeed!.... I hesitated,,,then I bought it. I didn't think it would last long. You know what? I can live with changing my crystals. I think I was putting too much emphasis on that little luxury.
