Default Mike Blackstock and Paul Lemieux sign with Xray

Just looked at the RC America website and had seen that Mike Blackstock and Paul Lemieux signed with Xray. Congrats to both.

No real surprise about Paul getting a ride after the spanking he gave the factory Xray guys at Cleveland with his stock car and Mike leaving Associated was a given as soon as he started running for Trinity.

WYD,

When I spoke to Mike at Horsham he was given the chance to still run the TC4 but I am sure that would have made 12th scale a little sticky.

You are 100% right. In all reality it couldn't happen to run the TC4 and the Trinity 1/12th.

It will be very hard to replace Mike thats for sure. Associated needs to be aggressive here and get some guys. Mainly the touring seems lacking a tad but offroad theya re stronger than ever.

Drescher is a "BIG NAME" racer but he's a European.

In the States the only "BIG NAME" racer AE has left is Baker. I know Lufasso is on par with the fastest guys around, but he doesn't have the "NAME".

XRAY now my have the most "BIG NAME" on-road racers on thier team in the States. With LOSI a close second and after that everyone else seems to only have 1 maybe 2 guys, and YOKOMO and Hot Bodies really have no "NAME" drivers in the US, but I guess it's OK since they've got the 2 BIGGEST NAME drivers in the world (Masami, and Hara)
