Will the new plastic parts fit on the old cars? If so, any ideas why they changed them?

My 16 has been very, very good to me. Props to Yokomo on their continued quality and results. I like the updates on the new car.. Would maybe order the BD8 next season. Canadian dollar exchange rate is sitting around 39% atm -_-

In for future reads

Still on the fence if I should order a BD8 as well. It took me quite some time to get the setup of the 2016 to where I wanted it so will wait and see how it goes...

Just wonder how many parts are compatible from bd8 to the previous bd7?
Only those arms, hub?

The point is, is the new BD8 runs faster then BD7 or it just something new to boost up the sales.

agreed. For our indoor asphalt track, the BD7 2013, the blue one, was still the best out of the box. My 2016 took a year to get it to where I wanted it...
