Why touring?

Why touring?
Why do we put up with racing the too-expensive, over engineered, ill-handling exuse of a race car? Why do we race touring?
The money situation is nuts. Everyone is buying better stuff every 2 months, better cars, parts, batteries and tires. It is now impossible to be competative on a low budget in my area because everyone decided to make racing more "elite" by not making it any more competative, just a hell of a lot more expensive.
Why can't we go back to pan cars. Its a dream! Parts don't break, cars handle the same day-in and day-out (while touring cars seem to suffer from "shelf demons" and never handle as good as they once did at one point in time) equipment is much cheaper and they handle much better.
Touring cars on the other hand I noticed don't have to feel "dialed" in order to be fast. What I'm trying to say is that in 12th scale generally if a car handles really well then it will be faster than a car that doesn't handle as well. In TC, some of the fastest cars I've ever driven handle like @$$! What kinda crap is that?
Why do you guys like touring car so much? I'm going to RACE 12th SCALE and HAVE FUN

if YOU can't afford it then YOU shouldn't race it
there's ALOT more expensive hobbies out there then racing toy cars
why complain about it?...if you want a cheap and fun hobby try....frisbee golf or something
there's always that ONE guy that pi$$e$ and moans about something
you can be a budget racer and do well....just learn how to drive

He! let us spend our money to those manfucaturers so they can excist to develop better and faster cars for us. We pay their living! Suppose we all drove that perfect 1/12 scale car there were no manufacturers needed for us, only for newbies
Besides of the above: it is a bigger market with much nicer stuff than ugly 1/12 pan cars

This is EXACTLY the attitude that is going to lead our hobby to the level of popularity that frisbee golf is at (non-existant)
My point of view: I want to race-not blow massive amounts of money on a-toy car. Why do you guys see it fit to spend so much more money on something when it can be done with more talent involved. Maybe you guys don't have the talent and want to mask it by spending money?

I'm talking in general about the amount of people complaining about touring prices/releases and battery prices/releases. If you don't like it, STOP IT....Race 12th scale if you want to race toy cars and don't want to pay top dollar every month for everything!

I'm just saying if we really think about it, it'd be smarter for us to all run pan cars than touring cars. Everyone wants to go faster (hence the amount of money you guys dump into TC's and batteries...etc) and it can be done much more efficiently by running a pan car.

why would it offend me? i spend my money on other MORE EXPENSIVE hobbies and racing is just a winter pastime to get together with local racers and have a good time...for the small budget i race on i do rather well
it seems your the one thats offended by the technology that is coming out not myself since you are the thread starter right?
