tips for 6.5 blinky mod? torque rotor, rpm rotor, motor timing, gear ratio?
I've tried now 2 different motors (ZX and VST2 LW mg) and motor timing (25-40deg) as also gear ratio(55-58mm) with 12.1mm or 12.5mm rotor.

That said, I'm with you, I like Le Mans Prototype bodies better, and joined GT10 (the British version of WGT) in some part because they opened up the body rules to accept some LMP-style bodies with separate wings (like the Mon-Tech M10, Team Muso LM-P Type1, and Corally Porsche 962).

LMP > GT bodies for me too.

Haha!
Here in the UK, people complain about those "ugly wedge bodies", and seem to enjoy the GT-style bodies in GT12 and WGT better? There's been similar kerfuffle in USGT, with the Daytona Prototype bodies being outlawed recently (they didn't really even have an advantage, as far as anyone could tell, they just "didn't look right").

OK soooo.. I just read a post on the facebook about the recent EFRA AGM
And apparently it says "modified" for 1/12 is now 6.5T motor and blinky..
And according to them, 1/12 in the rest of the world, will run 2S batts?
Have I misunderstood this?

If people complain about "ugly wedge bodies" just remind them that 1/12 scales have never been scale or pretty, and have always been less a car than a little carbon fiber/fiberglass/aluminum 'device' with what looks like an oversize slot car body meant to set fast lap times.

I am of the opinion that Stock 1/12 should switch over to GT12 rules, but thats a discussion for a different day/thread.
