Default Motor and Battery separate forums

Any idea why you guy's don't have separate motor and battery forums? I belong to rcgroups.com(rc flight) they have a nice power systems forum, motor design and constuction forum (crazy plane dudes build their own brushless motors) and a battery and charging system forum. I spend alot more time lately on this site due to my current obsession with cars dont get me wrong this site rocks, I was just wodering.

No bite?? Just seems odd you guys dont play it out in seperate forums.Motors and badtrees are just as, if not more crucial to the car end vs. the plane end, but info is scattered thoughout. No big deal just a curiosity

This is true and would have helped me out a bit more when I was searching at the time I made my electric conversion. I am now a battery racer myself now and I thought I would not like it but it is much more fun that most full time gas junkies realize.

The information is spread all over on this site but if you try and search it out you get lucky.

I have to agree as well.

I'm an off-road racer, but I have to come to the on-road section because that's where all the info on electronics is.

If you go into the electric on-road thread you will find team & company discussions. There are a lot of motor & battery forums. Any information in particular you are looking for?

Here are two examples posted within same time frame that could have been posted in a powerplant forum: http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...d.php?t=138191
