I'm pretty sure it won't be compatible with NiMH's.

The BC5A will charge them fine, but will not properly peak detect. Pretty expensive batteries to play russian rullette with. Only the 112A and 112C with software verison H31 are recomended for Nimh batteries. We have done hundreds of software upgrades on 112 units for Nimh and everyone has been very pleased with all batteries.

New Tekin charge line is in development......

I am kind of stuck on some of the old school stuff; unable to let go of my past, I guess. I have a minty fresh 410K on the bench, and the last time it was hooked up to run, it didn't work correctly. Can you guys run a diognostic on that particular ESC? It's not a typical speedo compared to today's stuff, and I would like to have it for one of my 12th scale retro-restos, and have it actually function. And what are the limitations and capabilities of that particular speedo with today's motor and battery technology?

Still one of my favorite ESCs of all time. No switches, programmable, cool tunes, looks still ahead of its time... what more could you ask for?

Not really.

It would be more like that if I was on the Tekin website and posted the same question. This is just a thread about Tekin, not owned by Tekin. Many people have had and do own multiple ESCs, which is hard to do with automobiles......

If the same question was posted about Tekin or Novak.
My answer would be easy and I would stick to Tekin!

The list is long....

Still defining the price points and features for each. We better hurry because the 112 chargers are pretty much gone.... The technology is pretty well done, but the packaging will take a while yet.

Has anyone ever ran a G11 PRO+ and just a regular G11? I was looking for differences as to why I would want the G11 PRO+ over the regular G11 (basically whether or not to save a few bucks or if it is going to be a huge difference).
Thanks!

The G11 is an excellent speedo with all the features of the G11pro. We offer the G11 as a pro level RTR product. It is a 4 wire configuration complete with battery connector and motor bullet connectors.... no soldering. It can be run as a 3 wire setup, but lacks the solder post for easy wire positioning and replacement. The fet package has a slightly higher on resistance than the pro.... very slightly.
