Default Which charger?

Hi,

I know this has been discussed a lot of times, but please bear with me.

I'm in the market for a new charger. Currently, I have one of those things that you plug into a wall, so that's no use.

My options are:
Much More Cell Master
Futaba CDR 5000
Robitronic Overloader
LRP Pulsar Competition 2

I'm buying this charger for racing, I'm going to take it with me to the races. I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Cell Master, so I'm mostly leaning towards that, plus I love the way it looks. The Robitronic and Futaba both have a large screen, which looks good, and they can draw graphs, but that has limited use, as I cannot output the graphs onto a PC for later analysis. Almost everyone has the LRP in my country (I'm in Czech republic), but I do not like the design of it that much. Out of all the chargers listed, the Cell Master is half the price of the Futaba, the LRP is slightly more expensive than Much More, and Robitronic is less expensive than Futaba.

Well, what would you reccomend?

Any help appreciated.

Both come to about the same price, as I'd have to have it shipped, and pay tax.

You can also read about the Ice here on the forum:

I was in your shoes not too long ago. I decided to try it, and it has been working great so far.

You also may want to check on Spintec, they are in Holland and are in the process of releasing a new charger.

Given the opportunity I'd grab the Robitronic over the Ice...

I'm actually waiting and expecting that Duratrax will be releasing an 'Ice Pro' or 'Ice Plus' some time in the near future with a backlight and a 20A discharge...

in the meantime, my Ice has been working well for me...

I've read about the Spintec, it doesn't seem like a bad idea, but I dont like the way that you have to put the battery into the top tray... I mean what if you have larger spacing between your cells or something? Moreover, I doubt I will be able to get it here...

The thing about the Robitronic is that I'm not sure of the build quality... it looks a little "childish" IMO...

Another "problem" is the price - the Robitronic is only 20$ more than the Cell Master.... ARGH!!! I really can't decide between the two....
