Default GTB seems slower

Hi
I've been testing a few setups with my car and it seemed really slow, the car seemed to take corners that I usually have to slow down for at full throttle. I had a look inside and the kevlar wrapping looked like it was starting to come off. I cut the little bits that were hanging off. That didn't seem to help. I checked the bearings and they were fine.
Any help would be great.

Mail. charlie at novak.

I've been surpised time and time again with their customer service. These guys are great.

How did you go with the glitching issues?

I assume you've checked all the wiring, the power cap(does the esc feel a bit "soft" on punch?, does it get warmer than usual?)

I have noticed on hot days, the motor does heat up a little and performance drops appreciably. Give it a shot with some co2 spray and you'll notice the speed difference.

The esc doesn't really seem to have less punch but the motor is really lacking top end. I will have the clitching sorted out as soon as I get my spektrum. I'll email charlie and see how I go. Thanks.

I tried running a brushed 10t motor and it ran slower as well. I then tried a another brushed motor with a QC2 in a different car and it also run slow. I think is my batteries or somthing.

Batts - voltage and temp
Charger - is it working?
Radio - expo set to 0, EPA set to zero,

I ran the car with the GTB the day after which wasn't as hot and it seemed a lot better. I've mounted a fan next to the motor, I'll see how that goes. Thanks.

The fan keep the motor cool but didn't make it go any faster. I ran a stock motor and it seemed like a 540. I don't think it's my charger because it says the batteries put a good charge (9.145 V) but in both of the car's all of them go slow. The connections are corally style pulgs that I put on about a month ago so I don't think it is the connections. What else could I check?

try another speed control if you have - at least you will know which link in a chain is weak. I hope this isn't your case but usually semi-burnt esc's are going slower as part of the FET's are dead. Of course as it is GTB there might be something else. You should contact Novak anyway.

I've tried another speed contoller and it also went slow. I'm going to the track this weekend, I'll compare my car and my mates and try different batteries and what not. I'm starting to think there is no problem it just me getting used to the speed of racing mod.
