Kingpins rubbing...
Are you using the new style (fixed 1/8" axle) or old style (adjustable 5/16" leading/trailing axle) steering blocks? The R/T kit comes with the new ones. I have one car with each style of steering block for testing purposes.
With the new style #3221 steering blocks that came in the R/T kit build it per the manual. One of my cars is this way.
With the old style #3251 adjustable steering blocks, place the axles in the leading position to achieve more clearance at the kingpins. Then, run the short wheelbase configuration to not make the wheelbase too long overall. My other car is this way.

ESCs
Any cost effective 1S ESC options out there for WGT-R/T besides ORCA and Hobbywing?
Would need to have 6V output for a KO RSX-12 steering servo.
Thanks.

ESC
Many thanks for the information about the SMC 1S ESC. I verified that it was approved by ROAR; and, ordered one with a programming box for $99.95 plus $8 shipping (3-day).
Wow! That was easy. Oops! Forgot to look at 17.5 motors...LOL
Stay tuned.

This one works well. The problem is getting a programmer. Less than $50.

The deal with the programming box is getting it when they are in stock. Check both the International and U.S. warehouses.
