Any body on the list (and some are 190's) as long as the tires don't stick out. The MX-Stang from McAllister is a 190 and it fits the CRC when it is in the narrow configuration very well. It works well like that too!

The 200mm Caddy just came out.

I put the Porsche GT1 body on my car and it looks sick on the track!

Does anyone have problems with the kingpin rubbing on the wheel?

It was suggested for me tonrun a 12 scale kingpin.

Thinking that the 1/12th kingpin worked great for WGT carpet; but, not for WGT-R/T where you need more suspension travel with rubber tires. Could be wrong; but, that is my logic.

Are you using the new style (fixed 1/8" axle) or old style (adjustable 5/16" leading/trailing axle) steering blocks? The R/T kit comes with the new ones. I have one car with each style of steering block for testing purposes.

With the new style #3221 steering blocks that came in the R/T kit build it per the manual. One of my cars is this way.

With the old style #3251 adjustable steering blocks, place the axles in the leading position to achieve more clearance at the kingpins. Then, run the short wheelbase configuration to not make the wheelbase too long overall. My other car is this way.

If your kingpin is rubbing on the wheel, then you have the length of the kingpin too long. You will need to screw the kingpin in until it stops rubbing. Our kingpins are adjustable in length and there is not a need to run so much front droop that it hits the wheel. it should be close, but not touch. 12th scale kingpins are not that good in GTR.

Thanks Brian,

I'll try adjusting, I'm all about the easy fix.

Still working on setup issues, I was traction rolling like crazy this past weekend.

Looks like 0.5 deg camber in the front is all I need, my car has A LOT of front grip.

Default ESCs

Any cost effective 1S ESC options out there for WGT-R/T besides ORCA and Hobbywing?

Would need to have 6V output for a KO RSX-12 steering servo.

Thanks.

Matt,

Many thanks for the information about the SMC 1S ESC. I verified that it was approved by ROAR; and, ordered one with a programming box for $99.95 plus $8 shipping (3-day).

Wow! That was easy. Oops! Forgot to look at 17.5 motors...LOL

Stay tuned.

Bill

This one works well. The problem is getting a programmer. Less than $50.

I run a Hobbywing Justock XR-10 and a booster. Easy and cheap.

I have 2 of these and they work great!
The deal with the programming box is getting it when they are in stock. Check both the International and U.S. warehouses.

Default What Body Fits ?

Well it looks like the new Protoform Caddy body does not fit without serious bumper modification and body post relocation. What body's fit without hacking up my chassis ? What is that body Mr. Dumper is using ? Looks like it fits well !
Thanks
John
