The only thing I could think of is that the car is bigger and weighs more with the rubber tires. Or am I totally wrong on this assumption?
I hear you. My temps in WGT-R have been in the low 140s with average 17.5 motors. But, I have not had the opportunity to run my Team Scream motors yet.

I'm going to start my electronics install hopefully tonight and I have a new Motiv M2 to slap in my car. Can't wait to see what I can do with it.

I just want to say Thanks to Dumper!! I ran into one or two small issues with parts while building my kit and sent Dumper a p.m. letting him know what happened. He replied right away and I had more than what I expected show up yesterday. 2 day turn around. Awesome service Brian!!!

Even at 130, the motor would run better at 110.

Default transverse...

Think it's time to pinch for another chassis and spin that battery around!

I do have two WGT-R/T chassis. One in-line and the other transverse.

But, Dumper has told me that he reverted back from transverse to in-line for his carpet racing; so, maybe transverse is not that critical.

However, I will reserve the transverse chassis to test on asphalt this summer.

Cheers!

Bill

Does anyone know of a 48p spur gear that will work. Ya - I know - I'm an offroad guy and would prefer not to have to buy new pinions.

Thanks
