Exclamation battery problems, need help!!! plz

hey guys i recently bought a : rc corvette 1/8 scale , and i charge it overnite for 12 hours but in return i only get about 30mins of battery life not to mention that after 10minutes the car begins to lose speed. im not sure how to fix this problem i just have a basic charger and a 12v 800mAh battery.

is there a way to extend the batery life or shorten the charging time, i will purchase sumthing if needed but not too expensive. could you give some suggestions and some links on what to do if possible????

Thanx alot^^

Ben.....

i would suggest going out & buying a peak charger that can charge at around 4 amps minimum,5 amps would be ideal. get your self a couple of sport (stick) packs as well. do not let anyone sell you somthing you will not need. just a basic peak charger is all you need.

It's very hard trying to suggest things with those sort of R/C's, but likewise maybe get yourself an MRC 959 which can charge between 1-8 AA cells. The cells are AA's right? You can also use this charge in the future when you decide to purchase a hobby level R/C. Right now, the 959 is probably overkill, but it will do the job better then anything else (wallchargers etc)

30 minutes of battery life with a 800mah battery and a 1/8 scale Thats plenty!...Just get a peak detection charger, and Higher capacity batteries and you will be set.
