Thanks guys. My local shop tried to talk me into getting this and just throwing drift wheels on it, But I have never heard of the brand before. Has anyone had much to do with one of these??

Yea ive heard of the sakuras. Never seen them in action but i know people use them. Im sure you can look them up on youtube to find more out about them. I still swear by the exceed madspeed. For $90.00 you cant beat it. And there are plenty of hop-up parts and motor and esc upgrades as well.

1) Is this something that can easily be done or is it just a PTA? I know this most likely would be easiest w/ a kit such as HB TC-FD but...

2) I have searched but come up empty every time. Is there any info for drift setups for a T.O.P. Racing Photon/EX or S411 for CS?
honestly theres no good way to have a drift car and race chassis in one.

for a good drift setup on a race chassis check out HB TC or xray t3

Default ABC Hobby Toyota Supra A70 with lights

After much heartache on how I was going to make an actuator for the headlights to pop-up with my third channel in my radio I decided after much deliberation to just keep them up and do that project on the next body. I'm so impatient sometimes but I'm happy with ohow it turned out. Go tekin.

Heat up a pot of water to boil and dunk the tires for 3-5 seconds and pop the tires onto the wheel. It's really self explanatory.

There are 2 different chassis' there. The madspeed and the driftstar. I own a madspeed and my brother in law owns a driftstar so i have seen both chassis'. Go with the madspeed. Cheaper and a better set up al the way around. It also comes brushless and has a pre installed LED kit. Here is the link http://www.nitrorcx.com/03c506-drift...ess-light.html

Hope all this was helpful

No both drift cars are shaft drive full time 4 wheel drive. and no neither car is a knock off. Both are original EXceed designs. As far as the R31 i have never heard of it so i couldnt tell you. Also here is the link to the section of the site with the spare parts and hop-ups. http://www.nitrorcx.com/elrcsppa.html
