OK then..........i'm only speaking from experience here......

if you want to make RC Drift more accessable
to the rest of your community, use a tire that everyone
has access to, and provides the cheapest alternative.
it's about expanding the sport, and helping newbs get into it.
i'm just saying, don't isolate yourself by using an obscure product

to compete against each other equally, rc drift requires you are all running
the same stuff [tire wise]....it also increase the 'tandem' sessions,
hence doubling your fun.

the pinoys are a great bunch of guys [from who i know], and i wish
them all the best expanding their comps/sessions whatever.

but....make it accessable to everyone, and you group will grow fast!

otherwise:
go team shiny-hair!!!!!

Holy cow!!! 2 months!!! That's alot longer than I expected. How thick are those shampoo bottles and what surface were you drifting on? BTW, which shampoo did you use? SmoothSilk? Mane and Tail? Head and Shoulders? Pantene ProV?

No need to put anyone down.....

hahahaha... Don't mind mitch. He's well known in the rc drifting community to bust balls for fun... There's no malice in his words, although it would seem like it... You should read what the other Aussies say at his website. They're a real fun bunch...

lol... Team Shiny Hair... that's a good one. Yeah, the guys from Manila really have made HUGE strides in expanding rc drifting. I was trying to tell them before that if they wanted to really get some more guys into it, they need to get some women from Quezon Ave, P. Burgos or Roxas to be their "Drift Queens" lol... Wouldn't that be sweet!!! They did have some pics from a drift demo they did and the two trophy girls they had were OUTSTANDING!!!

alright guys. quick question here. as far as asphault goes, i take it that ABS tires are better do to the fact that they give more "traction" that pvc on asphault. Also, as far as assembling them, I just but a 2inch diameter pipe right? Cut the pieces off to fit onto the tire, then do I glue them on with CA glue or what?

Depending on what brand/type of rim you have they can vary from 50mm to 52mm so some modification is required.... so far i have had various rims and pipe and found the current pipe i have has 50mm ID so with a little heat ie boiled in water for a couple of minutes they will fit over an unmodified slidemaster and speedway pal rims with no glue required due to the eventual shrink fit when the polyethylene cools
