lil_man, check THIS OUT if you want to get more into it. This drift thread sucks.

I've bitched about it before and I'll bitch about it again but RCTech gives just about every other RC car scene its own section while drifting just gets a fucking thread.

That banged up and fenderless S13 body is amazing. So much detail...

Does anyone know if they still have a track to drift on at eclipse hobbies in Bradley, IL. I was going there for a TTC comp on sunday and was debating on whether I should pack the drifter.

I've driven the XXX VIP in both FM and RM, and I've also driven all the different versions of the MS.

The XXX-D VIP FM is what I'm rocking right now. The MS-01D is a very good car as is the FS-01D. You really can't go wrong with any MST chassis, since they all drift like butter. My buddy got his wife a MS RTR and out of the box my other buddy liked it a whole lot more than his Overdose'd VDF.
With any drift car though it comes down to setup. Some cars can be finicky when it comes to that, while some cars seem to have a big sweet spot. I feel my XXX has a big sweet spot as I have felt very good driving it with box-stock settings. The stock CS is 32% but it feels 50/50 stable.

All current MST's share the same suspension design (vertical pillow ball) so choosing between a chassis is all a matter of preference. Something about front motor cars really fit to my driving style so I'm in love with the FS.

MST's have more pro's than cons. Some people will say MST's cost too much, but they always cost similar to other high end super bling drifters. On most cheaper drifters you end up spending even more on parts. My previously mentioned VDF buddy bought a VDS at a great price for $300. $500 later (or $800 altogether) it finally started feeling more like my XXX.
Another thing is that parts can be harder to find locally. If you shop online than that isn't even a problem.

Hey guys i have a Sakura D3 . Because i changed the center-rear pulley the rear belt lost a lot of it's tension . I am just wondering if the low tension of the rear belt affect the torque that is given on the rear wheels .
Thanks

When you say it lost alot of it's tension do you mean you can move the belt alot? You run the risk of breaking the belt when you run it with the wrong tension and you will definitely wear it down faster.
