3 hours might be doable if I can get someone to come with me. We have started a small drift club here in Indy but unfortunately we don't have an indoor place to drift. I have some wedding stuff to deal with the next couple Saturdays so definitely can't do it any sooner. I will stay up to date in this thread. I just finished my car tonight and my body should be done this weekend. The next Saturday I have open I will try my hardest to make the trip. I am a beginning drifter and so are the rest of the guys, although I don't think they are as hardcore into r/c as I am so I will be surprised if anyone will come with me. My new car also has counter steer which is whole new world of drifting for me. I am sure it's probably better but it's going to take some getting used to.

Of all the U.S. stores, who has the best options as far as drift bodies, wheels/tires, accessories? TQRC was the only one I found and purchased from. Stateside only please...

As far as tires, I purchased T-Drifts, and I have some really old (10-13 year old) belted HPI X-pattern tires (new-opened).

Are the T-Drifts OK for asphalt? Do you think my X-patterns are old enough to slide?

Depends on your body, camber, ect. I am running +12 offset in the rear with Blitz axles(5x39 vs stock 5x32), Traxxas 6mm hexes and 7* camber. I am still barely flush with the body yet not wide enough for my taste.

Front set up is +6mm offset, stock axles, 1mm washer between hex and wheel, Traxxas 6mm hex, and 5* camber. Any less front camber and my front right axle pops the dog bone out.
