Looking to get a car to mess around with, ive done a lot of off road but just looking for something to play around with to try out. What would be a good drift car but reasable price, not looking for RTR as I already have a remote servos and all that good stuff. Is the Ofna 1/10 JL10e Drift Pro GT Touring Car
a good car?

If you are looking for a drift specific car, the 3Racing Sakura D3 would be a good car. It comes with a front motor design that seems to be the new trend with drift cars, and will be priced very reasonably at approx. $120USD. Not sure how availability will be considering it's a highly anticipated drift car, especially for budget drifters, but there are pre-orders if you're interested!

As far as what is cs ratio, and what 100%, 150%, 180%, and 200% and all those numbers mean, it's quite simple. At 100% cs ratio, it means the rear wheel will rotate once more than the front wheel. So the rear will will turn twice, for every time the front wheel turns one. At 150% the rear will will turn 1.5 times more than the front wheel, and so on. There are many YouTube videos that demonstrate this with tabs of tape on the tires so you can see the difference in rotations.
Hey thanks for the help, that really is simple..lol Now I just need to wait till my car gets here to see what it's geared with so I can punch the numbers in..

Mxer, check out the Sakura Zero S. It's a great chassis for $110 shipped and makes for a great drifter and if you decide drifting isn't for you you have a shassis that is great for on road..

I just got my car ( Cyclone) today that I picked up used. I know it's not the best car out there for drifting but it will do the job and then some.. I plan to run a 9T ezrun system as I've used them in the past and have never had a problem with them. That and for the price you just cant beat them.

The Cyclone is a hella good car to drift with. Ive seen this car up close and personal @ Sheldon's in Sanjo and it was damn sexy. Purple and SSG look good together!

Can tell you from personal experience, it will last about 20minutes. After that you will start to break the TT01

with TT01, lock the rear diff, and you can drift fantastic with a 13turn if you gear it okay.

If you have the $$ i would invest in an eagle racing chassis for the tt01

You might want to use a motor closer to 8.5t or 10.5t, 5.5 is a bit much. Especially for a TT01. A 13.5 would even be a good choice.
