Just bought a Sanwa/StreetJam M11X-D, initial impressions are incredible. Ill post the differences between it and a regular M11X as soon as i get some help from a japanese buddy of mine setting it up. (instructions are japanese) I'm also definitly going to buy an OTA-R3R to go along with my Dmax, or just sell the Dmax, we'll see.

O man its mind boggling to go to drifting competitions here, even the lowest level guys have pit tables flushed with gear you would see at Tamiya Worlds. Its insane the level of money guys dump into CS drifting here. You can kinda see it with the increases in high level chassis prices. The new street jam kits, stores cant keep em in stock for nothing. That kits almost a $1000 with no electronics. The new HB TC-FD! $800!!! haha, ill probably buy one tho i love that new car.

HB TC-FD >>> $440 at my local hobby Shop! and there is 3 in sock!

Ran my Yok on a small on-road track today for the first time, lot of fun. Track had a lot of traction, they raced Thursday night and blew it off and soda prepped it. Camber change helped. If it hadn't been 100 deg F I would have stayed longer and played with the droop settings, but just couldn't take it. The car is money though, responds to every change I make to it. Reminds me why I like Yokomo cars so much. It's a shame they couldn't keep a presence here.
Were did you go Racing? and I have like 3 yoks!

M&M in Houston. They run there on Thursday nights. Just no electric racing at Gulf Coast raceway right now, which is a shame. You can run a 3.5 or 4T motor there all day long and the track will hold it. Cost you some money in tires though LOL. Ended up with a TC5R in a trade this week. Setting up to do a little TC racing, but looks like it could be made into a CS car very easily. Takes about 5 minutes to swap the diffs out, just need one with a pulley bigger than 40T and the car's overdriven.

Anyone know if the Hot Bodies TC FD shares any parts with the Cyclone such as diffs?

I am debating on getting the TC FD as I have a Cyclone S now. I love my S but would like to get something a little better and still stay within Hot Bodies.

The tc-fd shares the tcx parts. So which ever parts fit that car carry over aswell.

When i posted the retail price from HB was $799. Still not worth it to me at $440 when i can get a SJ OTA-R3R for $50 more.

For anyone in the northeast, there's gonna be a drift event at Jackson R/C on September 17th. The event thread is over on hyperdrift's forum.....
