Drift Tires??

Default Drift Tires??

hello,

i was wondering what tires i should use
i dont want to go to PVC because i cant
(i would explxain but its x-mas eve at 12 p.m and..yeah)
so do i go with yokomo
and if so what type?
theres so much for a 14 year old to get lost in!

ya i want to do it but i dont think i can get the tools to cut the pipe

do u know any companys that make a good drift tire untill i can get the tools and ask me step-dad to use em?

you only need a saw that it. just cut it in the rite dimesnions etc etc. and to put it on the rim place the abs pipe in hot water ( it expands a bit) then place it on the rim and hammer down gently once it cool it shrinks. so it stays in place.

If you're not able to go with abs try one of these.
Yokomo Super drift tires
Tamiya drift tires

The tamiya's will work better if you're running a high power setup( because they grip more) and the yokomos would be good for using a 27 or 19 turn setup.

i use the yokomo 5 spokes on my Drift TC3 and there great the only problem i had was wen i 1st started drifting i kurbed it alot and one came off the rim but that was from a full speed corner impact so i expected that. But they have taken alot of abuse and wear and are still fine about 3 months old.

ive drifted everything to pvc to frozen rubber tires and i would say stage d drift tires or yokomo super drift tires would be good but just remember that this doesnt mean anything if your motor is different or different driving style/lines

nope but im in the Aldi security CCTV vids im runnin a bodged 19 turn at the mo but im gonna get a Reedy quad mag 19 when the holidays over me mate runs one and its awsome id love to try a checkpoint 7*1 probably wouldnt even get moving

a costom guad magnet 19turn double and a tc3 .5 chassis
