I run on grey ozite carpet in stock sedan. What tire choices is everyone running?

I use the new two stage tires from Jaco and my car feels like its on rails. However if you don't want to spend the extra bucks on the new tire the I would suggest the Purple/orange jacos up front and Purple Jacos for the back. I have used these tire combos for the past two years and I haven't found anything better yet. The last tire combo works great and wears even better. Hope this helps.

can anyone please advice what width foam tires is ideal for electric touring? Wider gives more traction and less wear? so why isnt anyone running 30 mm width apart from the tires scraping on the suspension?

I beleive 28mm is the standard for 10th Scale Electric...30mm is for 190mm and 235mm 10th nitro??? That's what I believe is correct. We run GQ foams on the trademark "unbreakable orange rims"........

i think its 24mm for rubber electric, but there is no standard for foam electric as you can jsut get the nitro tires (30mm) and cut it down. But i dont know what the effect will be if i run 30mm or 26 mm. Will it be more sluggish because of the bigger wheels? But it will give more grip...

Not many people mention these but I have had great success with the TRC magenta and cyan. I hit a bunch of stuff and for me the jacos are fragile while the TRC's dont break as easily.

I'll second this one - TRC makes good tires. But I have been running the Jaco dbl pink/orange up front and dbl pinks rear cut down to 2.27". They are a bit cheaper than the TRC's and Parma's. I haven't tried the 2 stages yet, I don't think anyone at my local track has tried them yet either. I would just stick with something that works before trying something new.

TRC does make a good tire, but they are more expensive than the Jaco single stage tires. It will be interesting to see how good the new Trinity / TRC wraps are when they become available. I personally think the Jaco 2 Stage is the best tire on the market, but if you don't think you will notice the extra two tenth's, the Jaco single stage work just fine.
