Not a done deal yet but it's looking like the 10th foam pan car class will take the form of a 235mm chassis class.

Classes will be announced confirmed shortly and registration is scheduled to open August 1st

Wow 235 pan car on that little track, sounds a little ambitious. Maybe a real funster class would be cool with invite rules. Semi-truck touring cars!!! Now that would be fun to watch, a bunch pro's and top drivers wheeling semi-trucks around the track.

Boice ran one last year for Demo, it was fine and can't be anyworse than 10 of some of the touring mains

As for the invite class, Ian Ruggles is in charge of the rules for the luggage cart class

Correct, But some guys have been known to get a room anyway, to have a nap place or to just stay close to the track, Thursday and Friday nights we will be open around the clock.

Classes & details are nearly finalized and should be posted by the weekend. Registration will open August 1st. The Hotel has notified us they are already WAY ahead of last years race bookings at this time, it's shaping up to be a another awesome year.

The Flyer will be available next week and registration will open Aug 1st.
Notable changes this year
1) 1/12th stock will be Spec Lilac Purple stripe tire
2) Foam WGT has been replaced with 235mm pan car, 13.5, 2 cell

Stock 1/12: Spec Purple Stripe tire, ROAR approved 17.5, blinky ESC.
Stock TC: Handout tire, ROAR approved 17.5, blinky ESC.
13.5 1/12: ROAR approved 13.5, blinky ESC.
13.5 TC: handout tire, ROAR approved 13.5, blinky ESC.
Mod 1/12 : ROAR approved brushless, open ESC.
Mod TC: handout tire, ROAR approved brushless, open ESC.
Champ Car: 235 pan Spec Purple Stripe tire, ROAR approved 13.5, 2 cell, blinky.
World GT-R: WGT-R rules (see RC Tech thread).
VTA: USVTA rules, USVTA National points eligible.
USGT: USGT rules, USGT National points eligible.
F1: ROAR approved 25.5, CRC or Tamiya tires.
Youth class: As last year, 1/12th, spec tire/gearing, handout and collected each night motors. if we have enough pre-entries, same as last year

Nothing like Family over the Holidays, but you don't want to overstay your Welcome. You might wan't to get a hotel for the weekend. I hear the Embassy Suites in Independence is nice.

Any tire specifics for the WGT-R class? Such as will you have to buy them there or bring them new in package to be marked?
