M LANE - Yes, the batteries can stay as long as you want to leave them on the tray. Once the cutoff level is reached, the circuit will not conduct. Thus the battery WILL stay at the 0.85 v level as long as you leave it on the tray.
If you have any more questions, feel free to call.
gacjr0 - I do not have a Duratrax in our lab. However, I see no reason why it will not work. If I am correct, they use the same case and circuit board, the only difference is that it has 2 resistors/cell.
The circuit is current independent so it will
work on the Duratrax. As a matter of fact, I have many customers that own the 0-30 and they have removed one resistor (for each cell) so that it will work in the 20 amp range.
If everything goes as planned, the conversion kits will be ready for sale in mid-January. For those that are affraid to do the conversion, we will do it in-house for a small fee.
I do not have a final price for the Axxis Racing 0-30 upgrade kit yet, but it will be under $30.
I have received a ton of requests for the kit in the last 12 hours, so I will do my best to have it out for sale ASAP.
I will probably start accepting pre-orders 7 days before we get ready to ship.
Updates and information will be posted at our website by the end of the Year.
