Default HPI Sprint/Sprint 2 compatability

Hey guys, I just picked up an old HPI car with a Saturn 20T motor, Nosram Tamahawk Reverse ESC, and a 1500mah NiMH battery
But I picked it up for $20

Looking into it, it seems to be the original HPI sprint, and i'd like to know how many of the parts from the sprint 2 are compatible with the original.

If anyone can give me some input on this, i'd appreciate the help.

It's been a bit since I've thought about/discussed this, but just about everything is directly interchangeable or can be fitted with very minor modification.

Awesome, thank you! I didn't have much luck researching it.

That is a great deal... even if various parts need replacing ...I've refurbished quite a few lost causes ...its gratifying to bring something back to life and sort it all out.

It was a great deal!
Is there anything you recommend replacing on the car that's a known problem?
