Rob K is working all the details out and I believe will have them added very soon...but right now the motor is Novak 25.5 or ROAR approved 25.5.

Mr Moore is one of the main reasons that I do this and why this event even has any footing at all. He has done so many things to keep VTA and Thunder RC going over the years. And no different this year he has came to support this great event with major support to make sure it happens.

10 days till we open sign ups....1st person to sign up and pay will receive a special prize. In all classes!!!....so 1st in Pro VTA,IROC GT, VTA, GT, TC, Jr VTA F1 or 12th scale...

only one winner per racer...so if you are 1st in GT and TC...you can only get GT...whomever is 2nd in TC will receive the prize...

and the prizes range from Lipo battery to SXT to tires to T-shirt....and various items

I didn't realize you'd started this thread. Doh! I have a lot of catch up reading to do.

Missed the Southern Nationals last year due to important student events going on at our house. Plan on coming this year!

This is NEW this year...it takes the top 10 drivers from across the country that meet the qualifications to compete against each other in a 6 round Reedy style format. Still have a few details to iron out and perks. But this is what we have so far. And just like the Pro VTA class...the 1st ten to sign up and pay...GET IN!!!!

a. must have TQ'd or finished in the top 5 of one of the following events running U.S.VTA rules: Scale Nats(Chicago) Southern Nats(Nashville) Summit Nats(Ft Wayne) Halloween Classic(Cleveland) Snowbirds Nats(Orlando) U.S.VTA Pavement Nats (FL) or the U.S.VTA National Points Series

Ive got some pm's about the new ruling on VTA, going with Novaks and ROAR 25.5's... This is a U.S.VTA National event....so whatever the rules are come August 1st...this is what we will follow.

I think its plenty of notice to prepare for September....hope this answers any questions.. but if not please post or pm me...
