I find on our asphalt track, I can't run 100% throttle EPA w/ a 21.5 motor. 25.5 motors, yes. But with the 21.5's (old NOVAKs and those are nowhere near as powerful as yours), I usually run around 80-85% throttle with some throttle exponential thrown in to calm the throttle curve down.

You can also experiment with throttle servo speed, I turn mine down to 90-95% to slow down the throttle. Sort of like traction control.

Hope this helps,

Mark

the normal pit/tcs/crc tires.

running radio curves already and seems like slipping the diff makes the car inconsistent.

The Tamiya J wing, which I believe is the same wing that Montech duplicated. These are the original F104 Pro front wing, not the F60. I have one of each at home in my spares.

Diff really tight?
no quite the opposite. very loose slightly slipping. maybe that's the cause?

Not thinking so, it would be the opposite...

Happens when you go hard into a corner and it oversteers?

What about rear pod droop?

I know the kit setup has about 3-4mm, waaaay too much for my liking.

That can load up the front end and cause oversteer for sure.

Default mystery chassis holes?

Has Bob commented on the purpose for the series of holes on the East and West side of the main chassis?

I'm hoping AE releases a nice set of weights that could be mounted there .

That is way too much droop imo. I'd try to take droop to about 1-1.5mm rear and 2.0mm front just to see if that helps with weight transfer to the rear.

Tomorrow will be second race. Weather is looking better. Simple goals for tomorrow
1. Finish all 4 races. Minor issue caused me to only run 2 of 4 first race.
2. Improve average lap time. 18.0 was baseline.

I went down to 1mm and my on power/off power steering now has a nice balance too it for my driving style. I can now correct overall front grip just with tire sauce tricks: More, less and soak time.
