I'm looking for pictures, video, or anything about these old tracks. I raced at both as a kid and there seems to be no pictures or video of either one online. The best I can do is see glimpses of the E&L track in the background of pictures taken at the Del Mar Skate Ranch in the same complex.

Anybody got something for me? I'll take stories, too. Thanks.

My first races were at E&L.

Dirt oval and offroad. I seem to remember a thread that had some good stories from E&L.

The Hot Trick dirt oval car and Sprinter was so cool back then.

Some of my first racing was on E&L's dirt oval, and later the paved oval and off-road where the skate park used to be. I raced at Hot Trick for a while too. Barry was in town for MHIC and we talked about it briefly. I'm pretty sure I was racing there the day he showed up and dominated us in his first race.

It just seems like these two tracks are completely lost to time. I'm sure someone has video or photos somewhere, but I haven't found a thing.

He was the local north county guy in that area when he was just a youngling

We had a very brief discussion about it. He was busy running races. But it got me to thinking that I didn't have any history related to either place, and was hoping to find a little bit. Wishful thinking, perhaps.
